Who owns what on DocForge — you keep your work — and how to file a copyright takedown.

Last updated: July 25, 2026

This policy explains who owns what on DocForge and how to report content you believe infringes your copyright. DocForge is operated by Aashapura LLC as part of the Ark platform. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

In plain terms

You keep the rights to your documents and assets — here is how to report infringement.

  • You own the briefs, brand assets, and finished documents — use, print, and sell them freely.
  • We own the DocForge site, software, and brand; don’t copy or resell the Service itself.
  • Only upload content you have the rights to — verifying ownership is your responsibility.
  • Think something here infringes your copyright? Email [email protected] with the required details.
  • We handle valid DMCA notices and counter-notices, and act on repeat infringers.

1. Our rights in the Service

The DocForge website, software, generation engine, page designs, and the DocForge and Chakrakali names and logos are owned by Aashapura LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for the rights this policy and our Terms grant you, all rights are reserved. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service itself without our written permission.

2. Your rights in your documents and assets

  • You keep ownership of your content. As between you and us, you retain all rights to the briefs and data you submit, the brand assets you upload, and the finished documents DocForge generates for you. You are free to use, print, sell, and distribute your documents.
  • You grant us only a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit that content as needed to operate the Service for you — for example, to generate a document and make it available for download. We do not use your documents or brand assets to advertise DocForge without your permission.

3. Your responsibility for what you upload and create

You must have the rights to any text, data, logo, or image you provide, and to distribute the documents you produce. Do not upload assets or generate documents that infringe someone else’s copyright, trademark, or other rights. Uploaded images are sanitized before storage, but that process does not verify ownership — that responsibility is yours.

4. Reporting copyright infringement

We respect the intellectual-property rights of others and respond to valid notices of alleged infringement in line with applicable law, including the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on DocForge infringes a copyright you own or control, send a written notice to our designated agent at [email protected] that includes:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  • identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail (such as a URL) for us to locate it;
  • your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on its behalf.

5. Counter-notification

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to [email protected] including your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake, and your contact information and consent to jurisdiction as required by law.

6. Repeat infringers

We may remove infringing material and, in appropriate circumstances, suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.

7. Trademarks

DocForge, Chakrakali, and their logos are marks of Aashapura LLC. Other names and logos, including those you upload as brand assets, are the property of their respective owners, and their appearance on the Service does not imply any endorsement.

8. Contact
